The first night, Martha and I pose for a picture at the bar in the Grand Spectrum as we wait for the Mardi Gras Dining Room to open for dinner. We would eventually call this bar by the title "John's bar." In fact, this is the night we met John at that bar, and the night that Bagus (the bartender) served me my first Tanqueray and tonic -- the first of many over the next four days. |
